Love is everything.

There’s nothing more incredible than finding the one person you can’t live without. Your true best friend. When you're together, nothing else matters. You bring out the best in each other.

Out of every human on planet earth, you found each other and said: no one else but you.

This is love.

It’s Your Day

My day depends entirely on yours. I like to ensure that I capture the smiles from the very first moment. The nerves and the laughter are so much part of the whole occasion; that’s why I don’t want to miss the little things. I’ll be starting a few hours before the actual ceremony with the bridal party getting those little details which will capture the anticipation and excitement for the rest of the day.

Your day will then unfold as you’ve planned it, you’ll see me slip into the background or – even better – you won’t see me. But I’ll be there, documenting all the day’s special moments for you.

Often guests love to gather together for some group shots.  Which we can do it you want, or not, it’s your day. Afterwards, we might slip away from the crowds and capture some more intimate moments between the two of you.  It’s the laughter, the joy, that unique feeling of complete togetherness which will inspire some real creativity.  This is my favourite time to get those special photos of just the two of you.

Later on in your day I’ll be back documenting those beautiful, relaxed moments where you and your guests have settled into the day.  I’ll photograph the speeches, but I’m not just interested in the speakers, it’s the reactions which I want to capture as well, to see the joy of the people who are sharing your day with you.

Depending on how your day is planned, after dinner, when the light often has that wonderful soft mellow quality, we might find a bit more time for some personal moments outside. Then no doubt you’ll be throwing on your dancing shoes and letting your hair down.

Now, I must admit, I’m not much of a dancer — I don’t know if it’s a photographer thing, but when the music starts, that’s my cue to grab a quick coffee before getting those final shots as your guests dance the night away!

Intimate Wedding Photography

Something that is always amazing to see, is intimate moments that happen naturally throughout the day. My documentary style photography aims to capture these moments organically.

Your wedding photos should serve as a beautiful memory of the amazing day that you worked to create. I don’t want to create a series of posed moments that were created there and then.

I always will aim to allow your day to be yours, just as it was intended to be.

But We Hate Having Our Photo Taken!

Yep, me too. Maybe that's why I hide behind the camera! But don't worry — I got you. I know how it feels. And I assure you; you're not awkward, you've just had awkward photos taken.

So when it comes to your wedding day, I look to make you feel as comfortable in front of the camera as possible. I do that by not getting too involved. I want to be a part of your day, not dictate it. You'll be surprised how quickly you forget that I'm there!

And when it comes to taking some couple photos, think of it more you're hanging out with your new pal, Nik. And I've just brought my camera along with me. There are no crazy poses I'm going to ask you to do — trust me, it's easier than you think!

Still have some questions?

ABOUT NIK

Hey, I’m Nik! Thanks so much for taking the time to look through my website!

I live in Brighton, where I’ve spent most of my life. I love the city, however, am so grateful to be living by the sea and have the Sussex downs on my doorstep. I enjoy the outdoors and when I’m not photographing weddings, I’m passionate about travelling. I love the beautiful and eclectic landscapes of isolated, remote locations and, whenever I can I’ll be travelling to these places to find peace and happiness.

I got into all this during school and college where I was fortunate enough to be encouraged by my parents and teachers to embrace whatever strange hobby I decided to take up next. One day, that was photography — and it stuck. I studied it for many years, learning about fantastic photographers that have been and gone, many that are still with us, developing my own pictures in the darkroom, and learning how to edit photos. I never really put down my camera from that time!

At my heart, I’m a big geek! I enjoy technology and use it alongside my love of art, photography, and design to try and improve my work and give my clients the best photographs and experience possible.

I’m passionate about ensuring my photos are the best they can be and have set myself out to be one of the best UK wedding photographers.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I’d love to hear from you!
